Method

Grilling the Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F to 500°F (232°C to 260°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Steak

Place the ribeye on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip it and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Making the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil.

  2. 7

    Cook the Potatoes

Cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender. In the last 5 minutes, add the garlic cloves to the pot.

  3. 8

    Drain and Mash

Drain the potatoes and garlic. In a mixing bowl, combine the potatoes and garlic, then add the butter and heavy cream. Mash until smooth.

  4. 9

    Season the Mashed Potatoes

Season with salt and black pepper to taste, mixing thoroughly.

Preparing the Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 10

    Chop the Vegetables

Wash and chop the zucchini and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 11

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until tender.

  3. 12

    Season the Vegetables

Season with salt and black pepper to taste, stirring well.
