Method
Preparation
- 1
Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 2
While the pasta is cooking, prepare the chicken. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
Grilling Chicken
- 3
- 4
Once the pan is hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts. Grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Making Alfredo Sauce
- 5
- 6
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally.
- 7
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
- 8
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it directly to the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.
- 9
Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley for added freshness.
