Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and chop the stems finely.

Filling

  1. 3

    Prepare the filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, black pepper, and chopped mushroom stems. Mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Parmesan

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed within the filling mixture.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 5

    Stuff the caps

Using a spoon, fill each mushroom cap generously with the cream cheese filling, pressing it down slightly to ensure it adheres.

  2. 6

    Arrange and drizzle

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms.

Baking

  1. 7

    Bake the mushrooms

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

  2. 8

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed mushrooms!
