Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine and set aside.

Seafood Preparation

  1. 2

    Cook the Seafood

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp and scallops. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the scallops are golden brown. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

Make the Garlic White Wine Sauce

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until reduced slightly.

Combine and Serve

  1. 4

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked shrimp and scallops to the skillet. Add the drained linguine and chopped parsley. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a silky sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 5

    Serve

Divide the seafood pasta among plates and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
