Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Oysters

Rinse the Hama Hama oysters under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris. Use a brush if necessary to scrub the shells.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Chop the Parsley

Finely chop the fresh parsley and set aside for garnish.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon into wedges for serving.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Grill the Oysters

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the cleaned oysters on the grill, flat side up, and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the shells begin to open.

  2. 6

    Add the Garlic Butter

Once the oysters start to open, carefully pour the garlic butter mixture over each oyster. Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the oysters are fully cooked.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate and Garnish

Using tongs, carefully remove the oysters from the grill and place them on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

  2. 8

    Enjoy

Serve the Hama Hama oysters hot and enjoy with your favorite drink.
