Method

Cooking Edamame

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons of salt to the boiling water.

  2. 2

    Add Edamame

Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame pods to the pot. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  3. 3

    Drain and Serve

Using a colander, drain the edamame pods and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Preparing Crispy Garlic Topping

  1. 4

    Mince Garlic

While the edamame is cooking, peel and mince 3 cloves of garlic.

  2. 5

    Sauté Garlic

In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.

  3. 6

    Season Garlic

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the sautéed garlic and mix well. Remove from heat.

  4. 7

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked edamame with the crispy garlic topping before serving for an extra flavor boost.
