Cooking Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt.

Cook Spaghetti
Add 8 cups of spaghetti to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water for later use.
Cooking Seafood

Sauté Shrimp and Scallops
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and scallops. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Making Cream Sauce

Add Cream
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and stir, bringing it to a gentle simmer.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1 tsp of black pepper, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combining Everything

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained spaghetti to the cream sauce, tossing to coat. If needed, add reserved pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.

Add Seafood
Gently fold the sautéed shrimp and scallops into the pasta and sauce mixture.

Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately.
