Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Mix until just combined and shape into a 10oz patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Place a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of the patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

Slice the poblano pepper, bell pepper, and onion. In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the vegetables until they're soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche bun if desired. On the bottom half of the bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sautéed peppers and onions, guacamole, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Fries

Bake or fry the frozen French fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden brown.

Poblano Queso

  1. 6

    Make the Queso

Roast the poblano pepper until charred, then peel and dice. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and the diced poblano. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth.
