Method

Burger Preparation

1

Prepare the Burger Patty

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with cajun seasoning. Form into a patty, approximately 10 ounces in weight.

2

Cook the Burger Patty

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patty and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and blackened to your liking.

Toppings Preparation

3

Sauté the Mushrooms

In the same skillet used for the burger, add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender.

4

Assemble the Burger

On the brioche roll, place a leaf of lettuce, followed by the cooked burger patty, sautéed mushrooms, a slice of tomato, and sprinkle blue cheese crumbles on top.

Cajun Fries Preparation

5

Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven according to the package instructions for the frozen french fries.

6

Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the frozen fries with olive oil and cajun seasoning until well coated.

7

Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes, or until crispy.

Final Assembly

8

Serve

Once the fries are done, serve them alongside the assembled Black & Blue Burger on a plate.
