Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Season the pork ribs with salt and black pepper. Place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Cover the ribs with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the Carrot-Ginger Glaze

While the ribs are cooking, peel and chop the carrots. In a saucepan, combine the carrots, fresh ginger, honey, soy sauce, and a bit of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the carrots are soft. Blend until smooth.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Yuzu Crema

In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, yuzu juice, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Make Garlic Furikake

In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt to create the garlic furikake.

  6. 6

    Finish the Ribs

Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and brush them generously with the carrot-ginger glaze. Broil for an additional 5-10 minutes until caramelized.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the ribs, drizzle with yuzu crema, and sprinkle with garlic furikake before serving.
