Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the edamame pods and cook for 3-5 minutes until they are tender but still firm. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Char the Edamame

In a large skillet or grill pan, heat the smoked beef tallow over medium-high heat until it melts and begins to shimmer. Add the boiled edamame pods and cook, turning frequently, for about 5-7 minutes until they are nicely charred.

  3. 3

    Season the Edamame

Sprinkle the chili powder and sea salt over the charred edamame. Toss well to ensure the pods are evenly coated with the seasoning.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy warm as a snack or appetizer!
