Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork spare ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring to coat both sides evenly.

  3. 3

    Wrap the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil, making sure the seams are sealed to keep the moisture in.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily.

  5. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Broil the Ribs

Turn on the broiler and place the ribs back in the oven, uncovered. Broil for 5-7 minutes, until the BBQ sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones and serve hot with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
