Prepare the Aioli

Making the Black Pepper Aioli
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill.

Form and Cook the Patty
Divide the ground Angus beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties. Season each side with salt and pepper. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

Building the Steakhouse Burger
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown. On the bottom half of each bun, layer a handful of mixed greens, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, sautéed mushrooms, crispy onions, and slices of tomato. Spread a generous amount of black pepper aioli on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the stacked ingredients to complete the burger.
