Method

Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the shrimp, then pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mahi Mahi

Cut the mahi mahi into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Batter the Seafood

In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the egg. Dip the shrimp and mahi mahi pieces in the egg, then dredge them in the flour mixture. Finally, coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Fry the Seafood

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and mahi mahi in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

BBQ Beef Preparation

  1. 5

    Season the Beef

Rub the beef steak with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 6

    Grill the Beef

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the beef for about 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.

  3. 7

    Rest the Beef

Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Seafood and Beef

On a large serving platter, arrange the fried shrimp, mahi mahi, and sliced BBQ beef.

  2. 9

    Garnish

Garnish with lemon wedges and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
