Chicken Preparation

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the boneless chicken thighs and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.

Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and ensure it is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the Beef
Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

Garnish the Dish
Once the chicken and beef are cooked and sliced, arrange them on a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.

Serve the Korean Combo Plate with steamed rice and your choice of kimchi on the side.
