Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the boneless chicken thighs and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.

BBQ Beef Preparation

  1. 3

    Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and ensure it is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 4

    Grill the Beef

Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

Garnish and Serve

  1. 5

    Garnish the Dish

Once the chicken and beef are cooked and sliced, arrange them on a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the Korean Combo Plate with steamed rice and your choice of kimchi on the side.
