Prepare the Patties
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into three equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.

Cook the Patties
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add Broth and Season
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and soy sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring until it thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Combine with Patties
Return the cooked patties to the skillet and spoon the gravy over them. Let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.

In a separate pot, steam or boil the green beans until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
