Method

Prepare Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

Cook Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the desired doneness is reached.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in the toaster.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked patty, a slice of tomato, and a slice of cheddar cheese. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then cover with the top half of the bun.

Prepare the Sides

  1. 7

    Cut and Season Potatoes

Wash and cut the potatoes into thin wedges. In a mixing bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, and paprika until well coated.

  2. 8

    Bake the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
