Pork Ribs

Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.

Making the BBQ Sauce

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green onions.

  2. 5

    Cook the Sauce

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened slightly.

Crispy Finish

  1. 6

    Broil the Ribs

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven and increase the oven temperature to broil. Brush a generous amount of the BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  2. 7

    Crisp the Ribs

Broil the ribs for about 5-7 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning, until the sauce is caramelized and the ribs are crispy.

  3. 8

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
