Protein Preparation
- 1
Beef Teriyaki
Slice beef sirloin into thin strips. Marinate in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes. Sauté in a pan over medium heat until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Chicken Katsu
Flatten chicken thighs with a meat mallet. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.
- 3
Sesame Chicken
Cube chicken breast and sauté in sesame oil until golden brown. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame seeds, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Tonkatsu
Prepare pork cutlets similarly to chicken katsu, using pork instead. Fry until golden and crispy.
- 5
Salmon
Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Sear in a hot pan for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.
- 6
Sautéed Squid and Eggplant
Cut eggplant into cubes and sauté in a pan with a bit of cooking oil until soft. Add squid, soy sauce, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until squid is cooked.
- 7
Saba
Grill mackerel fillets until the skin is crispy and meat is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 8
Ahi Don
Slice ahi tuna thinly and serve over rice, drizzled with soy sauce and sesame oil.
