Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the New York strip steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to high heat. Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Loaded Baked Potato Preparation

  1. 3

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the baking potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes until tender.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Toppings

Once the potatoes are baked, slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Top with chopped chives.

Grilled Vegetables Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Rinse the broccolini and baby carrots. Trim the ends of the broccolini and leave the baby carrots whole.

  2. 6

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the broccolini and baby carrots on the grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have grill marks.

Cauliflower-Leek Purée Preparation

  1. 7

    Cook the Cauliflower and Leeks

In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets and chopped leeks. Cook until both are fork-tender, about 10-12 minutes.

  2. 8

    Blend the Purée

Drain the cooked cauliflower and leeks and transfer them to a blender. Add heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
