Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Gyoza

Take a gyoza wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over the filling to create a half-moon shape, and press the edges to seal. You can create pleats for a decorative touch.

  3. 3

    Cook the Gyoza

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Place the gyoza in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Add a few tablespoons of water to the pan, cover with a lid, and steam for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
