Cook Clams
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning and then the clams, cooking until they open, about 5-7 minutes.

Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).

Roast Prime Rib
Place the roast in a roasting pan and insert a meat thermometer. Roast for 20 minutes at 450°F, then reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness, about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Rest the Prime Rib
Remove the roast from the oven and let rest for 20 minutes before carving.

Serve Prime Rib
Serve with au jus made from the drippings and beef broth.
