Salad with Ginger Dressing
Method
Teriyaki Steak

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Mix well.

Marinate the Steak
Place the beef steak in the marinade, ensuring it’s well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Steamed Rice

Rinse the Rice
Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Cook the Rice
In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
Edamame

Prepare the Edamame
In a pot of boiling water, cook the edamame for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and sprinkle with sea salt.
Dumplings

Cook the Dumplings
Steam or boil the chicken dumplings according to the package instructions, typically about 10 minutes.
Sushi Roll

Prepare Sushi Rice
Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Allow to cool.

Assemble the Sushi Roll
Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a small border. Add julienned cucumber, sliced avocado, and smoked salmon or crab meat if using. Roll tightly and slice into pieces.
Salad with Ginger Dressing

Make the Dressing
In a bowl, whisk together grated ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, shredded carrot, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with the ginger dressing and toss to combine.
