Fish Preparation

Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Red Snapper

Place the red snapper fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fish is well coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare for cooking

Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet.

  4. 4

    Cook the Red Snapper

Remove the red snapper from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Once cooked, remove the fish from the heat and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Vegetable Sides

  1. 6

    Prepare the Asparagus

While the fish is marinating, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the trimmed asparagus and halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.

  2. 7

    Roast the Vegetables

Spread the asparagus and tomatoes evenly on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the asparagus is tender and lightly browned.
