Method

Chicken Bento Box

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Add chicken breast and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Grill or pan-sear the marinated chicken breast over medium heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Steam the Broccoli

Steam broccoli florets for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Bento Box

In a bento box, place cooked rice, sliced chicken, steamed broccoli, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Steak Bento Box

  1. 5

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 6

    Cook the Steak

Grill the steak on high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. 7

    Prepare Grilled Peppers

Sauté sliced bell peppers in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes until slightly charred.

  4. 8

    Assemble the Bento Box

In a bento box, place cooked quinoa, sliced steak, grilled bell peppers, and drizzle chimichurri sauce on top.

Salmon Bento Box

  1. 9

    Prepare the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix lemon juice and fresh dill. Brush this mixture over the salmon fillet.

  2. 10

    Cook the Salmon

Bake the salmon in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes or until flaky and cooked through.

  3. 11

    Steam the Asparagus

Steam asparagus for about 4-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  4. 12

    Assemble the Bento Box

In a bento box, place cooked couscous, baked salmon, steamed asparagus, and scatter capers on top.
