Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Gently add the eggs and boil for 7 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. After 7 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, peel and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In a large pot, add the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the white meat chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken, let it rest for a few minutes, then shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.

Cooking the Ramen

  1. 3

    Cook the Ramen Noodles

In the same pot with the chicken broth, add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add the Vegetables

Once the noodles are cooked, add the bean sprouts, corn, and dried chili satay to the pot. Stir gently and let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are heated through.

  3. 5

    Season the Broth

Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.

Serving

  1. 6

    Assemble the Bowl

Divide the ramen and broth into serving bowls. Top each bowl with shredded chicken, soft-boiled eggs (cut in half), and nori sheets. Serve immediately.
