Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk mixture and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Melt the butter for spreading on the dough.

  4. 4

    Roll Out the Dough

After the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the melted butter over the surface and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.

  5. 5

    Form the Rolls

Roll the dough tightly into a log, then slice into 12 equal rolls.

  6. 6

    Cook the Rolls

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and arrange the rolls in the skillet. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until puffed and golden.

  7. 7

    Make the Icing

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, Grand Marnier, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  8. 8

    Serve

Once the rolls are cooked, drizzle the icing over the top and enjoy warm.
