Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  4. 4

    Add the Spinach

Gradually add the spinach to the skillet, stirring continuously. It may seem like too much at first, but it will wilt down significantly.

  5. 5

    Season and Cook

Once all the spinach is in the skillet, sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Continue to sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the spinach is wilted and tender.

  6. 6

    Finish with Lemon Juice

Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the lemon juice over the sautéed spinach. Toss to combine.

  7. 7

    Serve

Transfer the sautéed spinach to a serving dish and enjoy hot as a side dish.
