Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filet Mignon

Preheat your broiler. Brush the filet mignon with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Broil the Steak

Place the filet mignon on a broiler pan and broil for 5-7 minutes on one side, then flip and broil for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Crabmeat

While the steak is broiling, gently heat the lump crabmeat in a small saucepan over low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of herb compound butter and stir until melted and evenly distributed.

  4. 4

    Serve

Once the filet mignon is cooked to your liking, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Top the steak with the warm crabmeat mixture and a dollop of herb compound butter.
