Bruleed Chevre Ingredients
Method
Bruleed Chevre Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chevre
In a mixing bowl, whip the chevre until smooth and creamy. Add honey and a pinch of salt, then mix until well incorporated.
- 2
Plate the Mixture
Spoon the whipped chevre onto a serving dish and spread it evenly.
- 3
Add the Glaze
Drizzle the fig-balsamic glaze over the whipped chevre, creating a decorative pattern.
- 4
Brulee the Top
Sprinkle an even layer of sugar over the top of the chevre. Use a kitchen torch to brulee the sugar until it caramelizes and forms a crispy layer.
- 5
Garnish
Sprinkle candied orange peel and fresh orange zest on top for added flavor and decoration.
- 6
Serve
Allow the bruleed chevre to cool slightly before serving with crackers or fresh bread.
