Pork Chop

Bacon Apple Jam

Butternut Squash Puree

Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Method

Pork Chop Preparation

  1. 1

    Season and Sear

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.

Bacon Apple Jam Preparation

  1. 2

    Cook Bacon

In a saucepan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and chop into pieces, leaving the fat in the pan.

  2. 3

    Make the Jam

Add the diced apples, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon to the pan. Cook over medium heat until apples are soft and mixture thickens, about 15 minutes. Stir in chopped bacon before serving.

Butternut Squash Puree Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook Squash

Boil or steam the butternut squash until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and transfer to a blender.

  2. 5

    Blend

Add butter, salt, and nutmeg to the blender with the squash. Puree until smooth and creamy.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet.

  2. 7

    Roast

Roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
