Method

Prepare Tea

1

Brew the Tea

In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool.

Prepare Brown Sugar Syrup

2

Make the Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 100 g of brown sugar and 50 ml of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Cook Tapioca Pearls

3

Cook the Pearls

In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls and cook according to package instructions, usually around 20-30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water.

Assemble the Drink

Combine Ingredients

In a glass, add the cooked tapioca pearls first. Then pour in the brewed black tea and add the brown sugar syrup, swirling gently to create a tiger stripe effect. Finally, add ice and pour in the whole milk. Stir gently before serving.
