Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Bacon Onion Jam

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until caramelized. Add crumbled bacon back to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic Aioli

In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Beef Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equal patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Add cheddar cheese slices on top of patties in the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly. Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of the buns. Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar on top, followed by bacon onion jam, lettuce, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve with Fries

Serve the burgers with a side of fries, either homemade or store-bought. Enjoy your Kilcoyne Farms Beef Burger!
