Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Season the bone-in ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus and Fries

Trim the ends of the asparagus. Cut the potatoes into fries and soak them in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

  3. 3

    Make Rosemary Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add chopped rosemary and minced garlic, and cook for a few minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Grill the Ribeye

Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the ribeye with olive oil and place it on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

  2. 5

    Cook the Asparagus

While the steak is grilling, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill the asparagus for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  3. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the soaked and dried potato fries in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Dish

Once the ribeye is done, let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the steak and serve with grilled asparagus, fries, and a drizzle of rosemary garlic butter on top.
