Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Cook the Spinach

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Artichokes

If using canned artichoke hearts, drain and chop them into small pieces. If using frozen, thaw and chop them.

  4. 4

    Sauté Onions and Garlic

In the same skillet, add a little oil if needed and sauté the chopped onions until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

Mixing

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach, chopped artichokes, sautéed onions and garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  2. 6

    Mix Until Smooth

Using a spatula or a hand mixer, mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.

Baking

  1. 7

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  2. 8

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve with Chips

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
