Shrimp Preparation

    Cook the Shrimp

    In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced lemon and Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water.

    Add Shrimp

    Carefully add the large shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Ice Bath

    Immediately remove the shrimp from the pot and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 5 minutes.

    Drain and Dry

    Once chilled, drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

    Mix the Ingredients

    In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

    Season to Taste

    Stir the cocktail sauce mixture well and add salt to taste.

Serving

    Plate the Shrimp

    Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.

    Serve with Sauce

    Serve the shrimp alongside the prepared cocktail sauce for dipping.
