Wings

Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Clean and Season

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well to ensure wings are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the seasoned wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, white vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all ingredients and heat until warm.

  3. 6

    Toss Wings in Sauce

In a large bowl, add the fried wings and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss until the wings are well coated.

Preparing the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 7

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.

  2. 8

    Season

Taste the dressing and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust as necessary.
