Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet, add the burger patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 5

    Add Cheese and Bacon

During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to half of the patties and top the others with gorgonzola cheese. Cover the skillet briefly to melt the cheese.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the cheese melts, slice the slider buns in half and toast them lightly in another skillet or oven.

  3. 7

    Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each bun, place a patty, followed by a piece of bacon, lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Drizzle ketchup and mustard to taste before placing the top half of the bun.
