Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps them cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil. Sprinkle salt and black pepper generously on both sides of each steak. You can adjust the amount of salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Skillet

Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot, which usually takes about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Sear the Steak

Once the skillet is hot, place the ribeye steaks in the skillet. Sear each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or until a nice crust forms. Adjust the cooking time according to your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Flavor

During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the smashed garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, and butter to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they cook for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the ribeye steaks against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your juicy ribeye steak!
