Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

In a bowl, combine the shrimp, mussels, calamari, and white fish. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the seafood is marinating, chop the onion, slice the red bell pepper, and halve the cherry tomatoes. Mince the garlic and chop the parsley.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large sauté pan or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and red bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic and Spices

Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 5

    Cook the Seafood

Add the marinated seafood mixture to the pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels have opened.

  4. 6

    Finish with Tomatoes and Parsley

Add the halved cherry tomatoes and chopped parsley to the pan. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are slightly softened.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the sautéed seafood hot, garnished with additional parsley and a wedge of lemon on the side.
