Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, mix the baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated with the mixture.

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack on top.

Place the coated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and vinegar. Stir until fully combined and heated through. Remove from heat.
