Method

Bread Pudding Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Croissants

Cut the flaky croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  3. 3

    Slice the Bananas

Peel and slice the ripe bananas. Arrange the banana slices evenly over the croissant pieces.

  4. 4

    Make the Custard Mixture

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.

  5. 5

    Combine Mixture with Croissants

Pour the custard mixture over the croissant and banana layers in the baking dish. Allow it to soak for about 15-20 minutes.

  6. 6

    Bake the Bread Pudding

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Chocolate Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Melt the Chocolate

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the bittersweet chocolate and heavy cream. Stir until melted and smooth.

  2. 8

    Add Butter

Remove from heat and stir in the butter until fully melted and incorporated.

Whipped Cream Preparation

  1. 9

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
