Method

Preparation of Tofu

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Tofu

In a pan over medium heat, add sesame oil, tofu cubes, and sauté until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, water, and cornstarch. Pour this mixture into the pan with the tofu and cook until the sauce thickens.

Wonton Preparation

  1. 4

    Crisp the Wontons

In another pan, fry wonton wrappers until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Spicy Aioli

  1. 5

    Make the Aioli

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and lime juice. Mix well and set aside.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Wraps

To serve, place a spoonful of the tofu mixture in a lettuce leaf, top with chopped peanuts, sliced green onions, a crispy wonton, and drizzle with spicy aioli.
