Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Crispy Mashed Potatoes Preparation

3

Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.

4

Mash and Flavor

Add butter, heavy cream, minced garlic, and half of the cheddar cheese to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.

5

Prepare for Baking

Transfer the mashed potatoes to a baking dish, sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.

6

Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Vegetable Preparation

7

Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add green beans and carrots; season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
