Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Gyoza

Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal. You can create pleats for a decorative touch if desired. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Cook the Gyoza

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. Place the gyoza in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately. Allow the gyoza to steam for about 5 minutes until the water has evaporated and the gyoza are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the gyoza hot with hot mustard on the side for dipping.
