Prepare Tofu

    Marinate the Tofu

    Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes. In a bowl, mix Korean chili powder, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Marinate tofu for at least 30 minutes.

    Coat and Fry Tofu

    After marinating, toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until fully coated. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu until golden and crispy on all sides. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare Wontons

    Fry Wontons

    Heat oil in a separate pan. Carefully add wonton wrappers and fry until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Make Papaya Slaw

    Mix Slaw Ingredients

    In a bowl, combine shredded papaya, carrot, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well and set aside.

Prepare Dressing

    Make Carrot Miso Dressing

    In a blender, combine grated carrot, miso paste, sesame oil, and water. Blend until smooth.

Cook Coconut Rice

    Prepare Coconut Rice

    In a pot, combine jasmine rice, coconut milk, and water. Cook according to rice package instructions until fluffy.

Assemble Bowl

    Build Your Bowl

    In a bowl, layer coconut rice, crispy tofu, papaya slaw, and top with crispy wontons. Drizzle with chili crisp and carrot miso dressing. Add sliced avocado if desired.
