Salad Base

Cilantro Ginger Dressing

Method

Prepare the Dressing

  1. 1

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, combine the fresh ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and honey. Whisk until well blended and set aside.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 2

    Sear the Tuna

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the yellowfin tuna filets with salt and pepper. Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side until the outside is browned and the inside is rare. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  2. 3

    Prepare the Other Ingredients

While the tuna is resting, peel and dice the mango and avocado into bite-sized pieces. Chop the cilantro roughly.

  3. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the diced mango, avocado, chopped cilantro, and peanuts. Add the sliced tuna on top and sprinkle with crispy gyoza strips.

  4. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the cilantro ginger dressing over the assembled salad. Toss gently to combine all ingredients without breaking the tuna.
