Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the steak in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Lobster Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise. Remove any connective tissue.

  2. 5

    Cook the Lobster

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes. Drizzle lemon juice over the lobster, then brush with the garlic butter mixture.

  3. 6

    Broil the Lobster

Place the lobster under a broiler for 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

Crispy Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 7

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut potatoes into quarters. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 8

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return to the pot. Add heavy cream, butter, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth.

  3. 9

    Crisp the Potatoes

Spread the mashed potatoes on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  4. 10

    Garnish with Green Onions

Sprinkle chopped green onions over the crispy mashed potatoes before serving.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 11

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim asparagus and slice carrots into thin rounds.

  2. 12

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add asparagus and carrots, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender yet crisp.
