Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Making the Cake Batter

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth.

Mix in Sugar
Add the granulated sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until combined.

Add Eggs and Yolks
Whisk in the large eggs and egg yolks until fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

Add Flour and Vanilla
Gently fold in the all-purpose flour and vanilla extract until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Baking the Cakes

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake
Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and let the cakes cool for 1 minute. Carefully run a knife around the edges to loosen them.
