Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

    Mix the Seasonings

In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Coat the Chicken

In a large bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts. Squeeze the lime juice over them and then sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both sides of the chicken. Ensure the chicken is well coated.

  2. 5

    Bake the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  3. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, chop fresh cilantro and sprinkle it over the chicken before serving.
